Who are we?A class website project for introducing different aspects of your culture.  Follow this link for an example and advice on how to help your students build a website.  This project can be completed in language classes or as part of ICT, Citizenship or General Studies (sogo gakushu) classes.

postal Mini projects:A collection of simple project ideas to help students to get to know each other better.  These projects mainly involve sending items through the post such as music tapes, origami or calligraphy.

geography Geography projects:British school children have several opportunities to study about Japan in their geography classes. At these times they are likely to have a lot of questions for their e-link partners. We look at what they study and introduce some ideas for projects on the UK.

Recipe exchange project Recipe exchange project: Experience your partner's culture first-hand with something you can see, taste, touch and smell.

Manga relay Manga relay: Students create manga or comic book stories in this collaborative art and English project.  Subjects of the manga can range from students' original stories to pieces about the environment or road safety.

The survey Class questionnaire: Partner schools conduct a survey using an agreed set of questions in their respective classes, schools or communities. They then share the results.

View from my window View from my window: Students write descriptions of the view from a window in their school.  The project gives children a better understanding of their partner school's environment.

Backpacker bears Backpacker bears: Backpacker bears are a great way to enhance communications between schools involved in international projects. The backpacker bears are soft toys that represent the school, project, town or country of the participating schools.

photography Photography projects: Send a photo display to help your e-link partners get a better understanding of what life is like in your school.

Art competition Art competition:Why not challenge your partner school to take part in an art competition? You can get your students to judge the pictures and send prizes to the winners.
